RAPID 6.0 is the most advanced version of RAPID software for the PillCam Platform. It enables physicians to compile and review images captured by the latest generation PillCam video capsules. RAPID features include the capability to capture and annotate images of interest; adjustable speed settings; zoom and multi-image views; quick video preview; localization aids; and generation of a comprehensive patient report. The RAPID Atlas allows comparison of on-screen case images with a library of reference images.
This sixth generation software offers powerful tools that aid in the reading and interpretation of patient studies. Key features of RAPID 6.0 include:
• Support for the new SensorBelt for use in PillCam capsule endoscopy of the small bowel. a patient-friendly alternative to the SensorArray that is less visible and more comfortable for the patient and saves time for the clinician.
• Progress Indicator provides a percentage and visual indication of the viewing progress when reading a PillCam SB video and may aid in estimation of linear movement within the small bowel.
• FICE image adjustment is a viewing tool that aids in observing tissue surface characteristics and vascularity by visually enhancing suspect tissue.
• Mosaic View enables readers to review tissue changes over time via an array of 18 or 24 consecutive RAPID images at a time.
RAPID Reader
RAPID Reader supports patient check-in, video data transfer, video review and creation of patient reports (The full RAPID software is required for video creation.).
