ACCOUNT MANAGER

 

Given Imaging is a world leader in GI medical devices, offering the broadest portfolio of capsule solutions to visualize the gastrointestinal tract and, through its Sierra Scientific subsidiary, specialty GI diagnostic solutions and high-resolution manometry.

 

The Account Manager (AM) will be responsible for utilizing customer-focused selling strategies to position the entire Given portfolio to all assigned customers in a defined territory.  The AM coordinates all field and internal resources in creating value for assigned customer base.  AM is responsible for engaging with key decision-makers and executives in a primary role and is the owner of the account level strategic business plan.

 

The essential duties and responsibilities for the Account Manager include the following:

 

Achieve Revenue and Drive Growth 
 

§  Responsible for meeting or exceeding revenue goals as assigned for territory

§  Responsible for sales goals assigned across specific elements of the product portfolio

§ Ensures prompt follow up and execution on leads provided

§  Ensure appropriate leverage of sales acquisition methods and marketing promotions in achievement of sales plan

 

Account Management

 

§ Responsible for coordination of sales and customer support activities with all accounts in territory

§  Leverages business acumen and Given product knowledge to develop effective value propositions

§  Maintains corporate image through professional and effective customer interactions

§  Crafts and delivers the appropriate business plans to key accounts within the territory

§  Develops and leads customer facing presentations

 

Territory Management

 

§  Responsible for development of and execution against a territory business plan

§  Responsible for the management of customer demographics through the SAP-CRM business tool

§ Responsible for sales process/cycle management and it’s documentation through SAP-CRM and any other assigned reporting tools.

§ Responsible for timely and accurate submission of expense reports, field inventory updates and additional administrative requirements

 

The qualified candidate will possess and display the following attributes:

 

§  Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university, with a minimum of four years related experience 

§ B2B strategic sales experience with emphasis in the healthcare field preferred 

§ Strong track record of achievement in the following areas: market/industry knowledge, clinical expertise, selling skills, sales results and teamwork

§ Demonstrated success in working within a team setting and leading the development and completion of programs that align to business initiatives

§ Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation)

§ Excels at building rapport and working cross-functionally, multi-tasking, organization and time management
