GLOBAL MARKETING DIRECTOR, COLON


DULUTH, GA

 

Given Imaging is redefining medical technology by developing, producing and marketing innovative, patient-friendly diagnostic products.  We are currently seeking a Global Marketing Director in Duluth, GA. 

 

The Global Marketing Director (reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer) will serve as a member of the Global marketing team, responsible for developing the global marketing plan to meet market needs.  Doing so requires presenting market requirements to the Program Manager and presenting product capabilities and benefits to regional marketing teams.  The Global Marketing Director will focus on market development and increasing market growth in the target product space, in close coordination with the Regional teams.


The essential duties and responsibilities include the following:

  • Own the marketing activities including strategy formulation, product development, via the PLCM process,  customer  needs  assessment  and  go-to-market (GTM)  plans  for  the respective products,  using  rigorous Marketing  tools and processes.

  • Work  closely  with  the R&D  team  and Clinical Affairs team to  translate  customer's  needs,  customer's  problems  and  overall  business  opportunity  for  the  segment  into  leading  products  and  offerings that maximize clinical and economic value to the customer.

  • Maintain  contacts  with  customers,  global  sales  force,  and regional marketing,  to  understand  and  integrate  customer  needs  into  the  product  roadmap.

  • Work  with  the  regional teams by  driving  the  GTM activities  for  breakthroughs  and  product  introductions,  work  through  new  products  phase-in/out  processes  and  drive  competitive  differentiators  into  the  product  program.

  • Align resources (Centers of Excellence, KOLs, Operational teams, Marketing Communications, PR, clinical affairs, Reimbursement, etc.) to execute against stated marketing plan.
     

      The successful candidate must possess and display the following skills and personal attributes:


    • Bachelors degree in business/marketing or equivalent

    • Minimum 6 years medical marketing experience, including marketing strategy and plan development, demonstrated expertise and familiarity with marketing concepts and strategies, and proven ability to conduct market analysis

    • Successful track record in developing and launching products and programs globally

    • Strong track record in developing and launching products and programs and demonstrated ability to manage products throughout the life cycle


    • Creative problem solving skills and ability to manage and resolve conflict


    • Self-motivated, willingness to take initiatives to identify opportunities for improvement, and take actions to improve.


    • Demonstrated interpersonal & communication skills: Ability to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, to global counterparts and to members in other functional teams

    • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally 


    Desired Characteristics:

    • Medical imaging/medical devices experience

    • Masters in Business Administration or equivalent
    • Demonstrated use of marketing processes, tools, and analyses

    • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and  successful record in a matrix environment

    • Solid, creative problem solving skills and  ability  to  manage  and  resolve  conflict

    • Proven  professional  business  acumen  (experience  leveraging  relationships  and  expertise  of  local  internal  team  members  and  interfacing  with  external  customers)

    • Willingness  to  be  flexible/adapt  to  changing  work  environments
       
    • Demonstrated  successful  project  management  skills,  ability  to  multi-task  effectively  and  manage  multiple  priorities  at  one  time

    • Demonstrated  ability  to  work  effectively  in  team  environment  and  across  functions

    • Basic  proficiency  in  computer  skills  in  Microsoft  Office  Suite  products
