SALES OPERATION ANALYST
Given Imaging is a world leader in GI medical devices, offering the broadest portfolio of capsule solutions to visualize the gastrointestinal tract and, through its Sierra Scientific subsidiary, specialty GI diagnostic solutions and high-resolution manometry.
The Sales Operations Analyst is responsible for managing, maintaining, and ensuring the accuracy of the Customer Pricing Database and the Customer Master Database. This role manages all aspects of customer pricing, contracts, invoice accuracy and pricing analysis.
The essential duties and responsibilities of the position include the following:
Pricing and Contract Database
§ Monthly price reconciliation between SAP and the published Price List
§ Price List maintenance and publication
§Coordinate material list price maintenance
§ Manage customer contracts and pricing to maintain high invoice accuracy
§ Customer price maintenance
§Customer price and contract audits
§ Coordinate promo price set-up
§ Manage the FSS and other IDN contracts: material additions, deletions, changes
§FSS and other IDN contract price maintenance
§ Maintain FSS and other IDN contract pricing connections in SAP
§ Maintenance and publication of FSS and other IDN Price Lists
§ Process pricing corrections in SAP
§Implement price increases
§Implement new pricing contracts (Customer and GPO)
§ Document processes for responsible areas
Reporting and Analysis
§ FSS quarterly sales analysis and creation of IFF payment
§ Quarterly customer tier analysis
§Monthly price expiration review and updates
§ Monthly Customer Price Expiration Reports – 60 day notification
§ Creation and distribution of Price Change Notifications – 30 day notification
§ Annual pricing tier analysis and implementation
§Monthly price expiration review and updates
§ Invoice accuracy metrics
Customer Master Database
§ Customer Master accuracy – review all new prospects and sold-to’s for accurate data
§ Responsible for funnel management of new capital opportunities
§ Responsible for sales process/cycle management and it’s documentation through SAP-CRM and any other assigned reporting tools
§ Responsible for timely and accurate submission of expense reports, field inventory updates and additional administrative requirements
Other Projects and Training
§ Coordinate Customer cross reference and SAP maintenance for acquisitions
§ Manage the customer RFP process
§ Deal desk support: CRM, quotations, general field support
§ Support special projects
§ Complete projects by assigned deadlines
§ All other duties as assigned
The qualified candidate will possess and display the following attributes:
§ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
§ A minimum of 2 years experience in Customer Service and/or Operations environments; contracts and pricing preferred
§ Excellent interpersonal skills, conduct oneself in a professional manner, and are comfortable operating independently and within groups
§Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from the Sales Team, Sales Management, Customers, and other management
§ Must be capable of being flexible in a rapidly changing environment
§ Excellent written and oral communication skills
§Organization, planning and time management skills with strong attention to detail
§Must be able to multi-task and manage multiple projects and work with the supervisor and team members to prioritize current projects
§Proficient with Microsoft: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook, Internet software, E-mail. SAP and Sales CRM knowledge are a plus
