To receive consideration, requests must be submitted at least 6-8 weeks prior to the start of the program through the online application process. Submission of a grant does not guarantee approval of the request nor support for the entire amount requested. No representatives of Given Imaging may request educational grants on behalf of customers.
Upon approval of a grant request, a Letter of Agreement will be sent to the requesting organization or CME provider (if applicable) for signature. The Letter of Agreement must be signed by an authorized institution associate from the requesting organization or CME provider. This letter must be returned to Given Imaging prior to any payment being issued. Disclosure of financial support for educational grants must be made to program participants. “Support has been provided through an educational grant from Given Imaging” is an example of such a statement.
