Given Imaging, Inc. is developing web-based courses that will allow for self-paced instruction on GI disorders, capsule endoscopy, and esophageal pH monitoring. Support is also provided to accredited developers of CME e-learning courses that cover relevant content.

The programs in this series demonstrate the utility of capsule endoscopy through the review of unique and challenging case studies. Each of the five interactive modules presented by capsule endoscopy experts provide an opportunity to practice pathology
identification and next steps for patient management for small bowel disorders including GI bleeding, Crohn’s disease, Celiac disease,
and small bowel tumors.
Managing the Difficult GERD Patient
With an emphasis on best practices, these programs offer insight into Bravo pH study interpretation and provide interactive case studies for additional practical experience.
An Overview of Capsule Endoscopy
This program features Douglas C. Wolf, MD, Medical Director, AGA Center for Clinical Research, Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates, Atlanta, GA. Dr. Wolf is a well-known expert in the field of Inflammatory Bowel Disease, and has been a prominent advisor, clinical researcher and teacher in this field for many years. The program features an overview of capsule endoscopy, along with case studies using capsule endoscopy as a management tool for patients with CD. This program is an outgrowth of Given Imaging’s interest in and commitment to patients and caregivers in this field, and reflects our recent FDA clearance for the use of PillCam capsule endoscopy with these patients.
