HIPAA compliant: RAPID Reader 4 contains a "De-Identify" button from the Print & Exports window, and "Save De-Identified Video As" option from the File menu, which allows saving of videos without any patient information. Once the patient information has been removed, these videos are HIPAA-compliant.
If the RAPID Reader 4.1 is already installed on your PC, exit the RAPID Reader 4.1 Main Menu to quit the installation.

Recover RAPIDAtlas v1 - Allows separate installation of the first RAPIDAtlas database (required only if directed by your regional support office).
View User Manual - Allows you to access a PDF version of the manual in all supported languages. Ensure you have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your PC..
Install MPEG CODEC - Allows you to manually install the MPEG CODEC.
Contact Us - Presents the name, phone and email of Given Imaging customer support sites worldwide..
Exit - Quits the RAPID Reader 4.1 auto-run Installation CD.
Installing RAPID Reader 4.1
Download the file locally to your preferred location.
After the download successfully ends, run the downloaded file.
From the Self Extractor main menu, chose the "Unzip" button.
After the extracting ends, browse to the C:\RAPIDReaderInstall directory and run the "Reader4.exe" file.
From the RAPID Reader main installation window click on the "Install RAPID Reader 4.1" and follow the installation instructions.

Installing MPEG CODEC
If during the RAPID Reader 4.1 installation you responded with NO to the MPEG CODEC licence agreement, you may still install your PC with the MPEG CODEC using the button provided.
