Given Imaging, Inc. provides ongoing educational opportunities through which physicians, nurses and allied healthcare professionals can enhance their knowledge of gastrointestinal disorders and undertake training on capsule endoscopy (CE) and esophageal pH monitoring. Courses are delivered by recognized medical authorities through different modalities including live events, webinars, and e-learning programs. The company also partners with leading GI societies to deliver educational forums comprised of similar content throughout the year.

• Courses

  Given Imaging, Inc. hosts several live courses throughout the United States each year. Each learning event is faculty-driven and incorporates case discussions, active dialogue and Q&A opportunities. Some courses include hands-on workshops that provide software experience and opportunities to read and interpret full-length patient videos. Given Imaging, Inc. also supports programs through ACG, AGA, ASGE and SGNA and offers courses in conjunction with Digestive Disease Week (DDW) and the North American Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition (NASPGHAN) annual meeting.

• E-Learning

  With internet accessibility, e-learning allows for knowledge enhancement without regard to time or location. Given Imaging, Inc. is developing web-based courses that will allow for self-paced instruction on GI disorders, capsule endoscopy, and esophageal pH monitoring. Support is also provided to accredited developers of CME e-learning courses that cover relevant content.

• Webinars

  Webinars offer distance-learning opportunities for healthcare professionals whose schedules do not allow for attendance at live courses. Led by faculty experts, these programs are conducted via a telephone connection and the internet and include lectures accompanied by slide presentations and case studies.
