VP CORPORATE ACCOUNTS
DULUTH, GA

 

Given Imaging is redefining medical technology by developing, producing and marketing innovative, patient-friendly diagnostic products.  We are currently seeking a VP of Corporate Accounts in Duluth, GA.

 

The VP of Corporate Accounts is responsible for leading and developing business efforts within the organization while building successful, long-term, strategic partnerships between Given Imaging and all national, strategic and federal accounts. 

The role aligns the stakeholder needs and positions Given Imaging as the incremental business partner by becoming a supplier of choice within our product categories based on relationships and sound business practices.  The VP of Corporate Accounts is responsible for achieving revenue goals in assigned national/strategic/federal accounts by developing, coordinating, and executing each account level business plan.  The VP of Corporate Accounts is responsible for coordination of sales, marketing and operational efforts required to meet national/strategic account objectives. 

 

The essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
 

Revenue Generation:

§     Achievement of National/Strategic Account Sales Plan.

§    Working directly with National, Strategic and Federal accounts on contract negotiations.

§    Increasing market penetration by identifying revenue growth areas within current and new national accounts.

 

Sales Cycle Support:

§ Communicating with and coordinate efforts with the field sales team(s) related to securing and managing our national/strategic and federal accounts.

§  Coordinating the activities of Senior Management with executives at national/strategic and federal accounts. 

§     Traveling nationally to call on existing and prospective customers in conjunction with the TM or RM to develop customer relationships and achieve sales quota. 

§       Develop and implement annual strategic plan in alignment with the U.S. annual strategic and operating plans. 

 

 Process and Communication:

§     Coordinating the specific objectives of the national accounts sales plan with all of the functional departments of the company, most specifically marketing, finance, field sales, legal and operations.

§     Working directly with sales operations and legal in the development of national and strategic contract structures that are sustainable and directly aligned with revenue goals.  Has ultimate responsibility for driving success within the Federal Supply Schedule portfolio of accounts.

§     Forecasting, budgeting and tracking account revenues and costs and the reporting analysis internally and externally.

§    Participating in scheduled Sales Management Meetings and Trade Show events.


 

The successful candidate must possess and display the following skills and personal attributes:


§  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required.

§      Minimum of five years experience in the medical device/healthcare industry working cross-functionally with marketing, finance, sales, legal and operations.

§    Proven ability to develop and execute a comprehensive national accounts strategy. 

§    Experience with providing timely reports on growth opportunities.

§    Must demonstrate proficiency in leadership competencies.

§    Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills.

§   Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.

§   Advanced experience in Microsoft Office Suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook).

§   Ability and willingness to travel within the US.

§   Proven results orientation.
